Use a tool
Start in Constants Chat, where nothing needs setting up.1
Open Constants Chat
Go to Chat. Everything you can use is listed under the chat box, so you can see what is available before you ask for anything.

Try the AI Image generator
It is a good first tool because it needs no accounts and no setup. Describe a picture you want and send it.

Watch the tool run
The assistant picks the tool, runs it, and shows the result. Many tools return a widget, a small piece of interface with the result laid out rather than described in a paragraph.
Add an app
Apps bring in tools that work with services you already use, like Gmail.1
Find an app
Browse apps and search for the service you want. Each listing shows who owns the app and which accounts it needs.

Add it to your workspace
Adding an app puts its tools in your workspace.

Set up the connection it needs
Most apps need access to an account before their tools will work. Sign in to the service once, and the tools can work from then on. Workspaces and sharing covers where connections live and who can see them.

Try it in Chat
Go back to Chat and ask for something the new app can do. If it works there, it will work everywhere else.
Anyone you invite to your workspace can see and use the apps and tools in it, and they set up their own connections. Credits for running tools are shared across the workspace.
Connect ChatGPT, Claude, or Slack
Your tools are not stuck inside Constants. Each workspace has one MCP server, a single address that tells an assistant where to find your tools. You paste that address into the assistant once, and your tools show up in the conversations you are already having. The assistant decides on its own whether to use a tool. It is much better at reusing a tool it has already used in a conversation than at finding one for the first time, so your opening message does most of the work.- Mention Constants in your first message. Something like “Use tools from Constants to find the invoices I sent last month” tells the assistant to look at what you have rather than answering from memory.
- Be specific at the start of a thread. Name the service, the tool, or exactly what you want. Once a tool has run once, later requests in the same conversation can be much looser.
- Include the details. Dates, names, and amounts in your request become the inputs the tool runs with.
